🌡️ That thermometer doesn't lie, and neither do these numbers.

The photo says it all: 80° outside. 113° inside. That gap can be deadly.

On a typical 80-degree day, the inside of a car can climb 20 degrees in just 10 minutes — reaching a deadly 109° in under 20 minutes. A child's body temperature rises 3–5x faster than an adult's, and heatstroke begins at just 104°.

On average, 37 children die in hot cars every year in the U.S. and during the summer, that's roughly two children every week. Pets are equally at risk.

🚨 See a child alone in a hot car? Call 911 immediately and act fast, every second counts. Thank you to Safe Kids Cleveland County for this important demonstration!
