DID YOU KNOW??
You only need one kidney to live a healthy, long life.
You do not have to have the same blood type, just one that is compatible.
Most donor surgery is done laparoscopically, meaning through tiny incisions.
The recuperation period is generally two weeks
The cost of evaluation and surgery will be covered by the recipients insurance.

Hi, folks—thanks for taking a look at our page! My partner, Courtney Varnum’s mother is, and has been for some time, in need of a kidney. She is on the national registry, but we haven’t had any success with that yet. We are just building this page now, and we will be posting more information as often as we can.
