The Charlo School District extends our deepest sympathy and heartfelt support to our friends, families, and neighbors at Mission High School and throughout the Mission community as you grieve the heartbreaking loss of a student.

While our schools may be rivals on the playing field, those rivalries seem so irrelevant in moments like this. We are all part of the greater Mission Valley family, and we stand united with you during this incredibly difficult time.

Happy Homecoming week! Our parade will be at 1:00 on Friday. The students will be released when the parade is over. Please make arangements for them to be picked up. The buses will run ASAP after the conclusion of the parade. They should leave the school at around 2:00.

We are so excited to start our 2026-2027 school year with our first Viking Roll Call! Last year The Viking Village, a parent run support group for Charlo Schools staff and teachers, started staff spotlights for our Charlo Community to get to know them better. We would LOVE to have all Charlo parents, grandparents, and community members a part of our group! We are excited to have more appreciation gifts and events for them this year but we need your help!

VIKING ROLL CALL 📣

Danielle Frisk- 2nd Grade Teacher
Mrs. Frisk is no stranger to Charlo Schools. She has been teaching here for over 12 years now as a Kindergarten and 2nd Grade teacher. She also enjoys coaching Middle School Volleyball and Basketball. Come see her in action this season! 🏐

Something that she said she enjoys about working at Charlo is, “Interacting with the kids. I also love watching them grow up through the years. I love seeing them develop, change and grow.”

Her favorite color is blue, and her favorite snack is chips + salsa!

The reason that she became a teacher? “Kids! I love to help kids learn and grow.”

Mrs. Frisk has lots of hobbies! Her favorite thing to do in Montana is to enjoy the outdoors. Some of her hobbies include horse back riding, gardening, floating the river. When not playing outside she says, “I do love to read a good book!” 🏇👩🏼‍🌾📚

She says her favorite quote is, "The time is always right to do what is right." — Martin Luther King Jr.

We are so grateful for Mrs. Frisk’s dedication to Charlo Schools, and the way she inspires all of her students! 💜

Thank you Charlo Grocery for sweetening up our open house with some ice cream. Your support of our school is very appreciated!

We are currently working out some kinks with Infinite Campus and our lunch program. If you have a charge showing up for lunch or breakfast it will be removed when we get to the bottom of what the problem is. Lunch and breakfast is still free for our students.
