One Missed Deadline Could Cost You Your Primary Vote 🗳️

Not sure if you need to disaffiliate? Here’s the simple breakdown:

✔️ Registered Democrat or Republican?
If you want to vote in the other party’s primary, you must disaffiliate at least 30 days before the election.

✔️ Registered as Unaffiliated?
You do not need to disaffiliate. You can choose either party’s primary ballot and you’ll remain unaffiliated after voting.

The law changed in 2024, so unaffiliated voters no longer have to complete any paperwork after voting in a primary.

Check your voter registration before the deadline to make sure you’re ready to vote!

I’m committed to preserving open spaces and farmland, protecting our coastlines from flooding and erosion, and supporting clean energy solutions that create good-paying jobs while keeping Rhode Island beautiful.

From protecting Narragansett Bay to supporting the local farms that feed our communities, I believe we can grow responsibly while preserving the places we love for future generations.

Did you know? Southern Rhode Island Volunteers (SRIV) offers free volunteer transportation for eligible Block Island seniors and adults with health needs.

This service supports access to essential trips including medical, dental, and therapy appointments, pharmacy visits, grocery shopping, housing appointments, and food pantries.

Eligible riders include adults 60+, adults 55+ with temporary health conditions, and adults 55+ with medically diagnosed disabilities. Riders must be registered with SRIV and able to enter/exit the vehicle independently. Donations are encouraged but not required.

🕗 Rides available 8 AM–3 PM
📅 Book 3 business days in advance (local) or 1 week for non-local trips

This program is a valuable community resource, helping neighbors stay connected to healthcare, nutrition, and essential daily supports, especially for those who may otherwise face transportation challenges.

Growing up in our district, I’ve seen first hand the challenges our community is facing. Our schools need real investment and maintenance, our roads need repair, and too many families are feeling the strain of a rising tax burden. Our seniors need better access to reliable transportation, and our land and natural resources deserve stronger protection. The list doesn’t end there.

That’s why I believe our voices need to be heard, not just listened to, but acted on. Change isn’t optional anymore; it’s necessary. We need solutions that make it possible for families to afford a home, access quality education, and receive the medical care they need without unnecessary barriers.

I’m committed to working for practical, community-focused change that puts people first and ensures the next generation can build a future right here in our district. 🏡
