I -65 southbound was closed while crews cleared up a crash scene near the 21 mile marker. The roadway was closed for approximately 2.5 hours, but was opened back up at 12:30pm

🚤 Boat smart – wear your life jacket and never boat impaired.
🔥 Keep grills at least 10 feet away from homes, decks, and anything that can burn. Never leave a grill unattended.

Heavy rain this evening may lead to flooding in southern Indiana. Training and back-building storms are expected. Localized swaths of 2-4 inches of rain will be possible in southern Indiana.

A cold front will move into the region from the west later today. Ahead of the cold front, a line of showers and thunderstorms will move across the region. Strong to severe storms will be possible in areas west of I-65. The main threats will be heavy rainfall, damaging winds, and marginally severe hail.
