With 1 in 8 women facing a breast cancer diagnosis in their lifetime, regular screenings are absolutely essential. Don't let cost or a lack of insurance hold you back from scheduling your screening. The West Virginia Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening Program provides free or low-cost mammograms for eligible WV women ages 40–64.

For many West Virginia women, the daily reality isn't a lack of health advice, it’s the weight of holding everything together. It is the unseen emotional labor of managing a household. The burnout of balancing a career with caregiving for children or aging parents. The stress of navigating healthcare access, and the quiet pressure to always remain strong for everyone else. True wellness isn't a trend. It is a necessity. It means having the space to rest without guilt. It means access to comprehensive mental and physical healthcare.
