We’re celebrating an outstanding achievement from the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Class of 2026!

Our graduates achieved a 97% first-time NPTE pass rate, surpassing both last year’s 89.7% rate and the national average of 88.3%.

This accomplishment reflects the dedication of our students and the faculty who challenge, support and prepare them throughout their DPT education.

Congratulations to James S. Krause, Ph.D., recipient of the 2027 American Spinal Injury Association - ASIA Lifetime Achievement Award!

This prestigious award is ASIA's highest honor and recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to the field of spinal cord injury care and research.

For nearly four decades, Dr. Krause's research has shaped our understanding of health, employment, community participation, and long-term outcomes for individuals with spinal cord injury, making a lasting impact on rehabilitation science and practice worldwide.
