🎉 **Today, Friends Interpreting Services, LLC Celebrates 15 Years!** 🎉

Fifteen years ago, I started Friends Interpreting Services, LLC, with a vision: to bridge communication gaps and ensure Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals have equal access to communication.

What began as a dream has grown into a nationally recognized, Deaf and Woman-Owned small business providing sign language interpreting, CART, and communication access services throughout the United States.

Over the past 15 years, we have experienced tremendous growth, learned valuable lessons, built incredible partnerships, and achieved milestones I never imagined possible. We have celebrated victories, overcome challenges, won contracts, created opportunities, and, most importantly, helped thousands of individuals connect, communicate, and be understood.

This anniversary is not just about a company—it is about the people who made this journey possible.

Thank you to our clients who trusted us.

Thank you to our interpreters and professionals for delivering exceptional service.

Thank you to our partner, mentor, colleagues, and supporters who believed in us.

And thank you to every Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and hearing individual who allowed us to be part of your communication journey.

As I reflect on these past 15 years, my heart is full of gratitude. Friends Interpreting Services would not be where it is today without the incredible people who have walked alongside us.

Here's to celebrating 15 years of service, excellence, accessibility, and meaningful connections—and to many more years ahead!

💚💗 Happy 15th Anniversary, Friends Interpreting Services, LLC! 💗💚

Let’s be real—sometimes, you don’t want anyone overseeing or eavesdropping on your doctor’s calls. I mean, do you really want your mother-in-law to find out there’s a new family member on the way before you’re ready to share the news?

That’s where confidentiality with IP Relay comes in! While video relay services are great, they can sometimes turn your private conversation into a family affair. Instead, why not try IP Relay?

With IP Relay, you can text your doctor through the app, and a relay operator will voice your written words on the call.

So, keep it confidential and call your doctor with confidence! Your secrets are safe with us!

WVCDHH and other state offices will be closed on June 19, 2026 in observance of West Virginia Day. WV Day commemorates our admission to the Union in 1863 as the 35th state. It is a wonderful opportunity to honor the history, culture, and achievements of our beautiful state.

WVCDHH would also like to acknowledge and observe Juneteenth, which commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African Americans. It is a significant day of reflection, celebration, and education regarding the history and progress toward freedom and equality in the United States.
