I want to take the time to say THANK YOU to the most amazing directors!!! Cathy and Jenn (and Security Benny) have been the absolute best. I cannot put into words how much they have assisted me in this journey, from sleepovers to FaceTime calls to paperwork to decorating a car for me in the rain just so I could ride through a parade to everything in-between. Thank you for not only caring about me as a competitor, but caring about me as a person. I am so thankful to have gained lifelong friends from this organization 🩷

From Diet Cokes to Peeps, I am so thankful to have directors like you 🩷🩷🩷 Who knew the girl I emceed with once would become one of my greatest friends?

While visiting the Malden Salt Fest, myself and Delaney met the most amazing food truck vendor! We taste tested many lemonades, Italian ices, fry combinations, all the things!! Larry and his team were truly some of the kindest people with the BEST lemonade. I’m still thinking about that dreamsicle 😌

Some people turn empathy into a career, and some people treat the world like it’s their runway: I am both of those people 🥰

I had such an amazing time at the National Association of Social Workers West Virginia chapter conference! Between sessions dedicated toward veteran’s re-entry, and my new-found love for peri-natal mental health, I cannot wait to drop the candidate from the MSW candidate next to my name!

Thanks to the Miss America Scholarship Foundation, and to Concord University (an official sponsor of the Miss West Virginia Opportunity), the financial burden of a Master’s degree is lighter! How blessed am I to be able to serve the Kanawha Valley 🩷

In honor of world period poverty week, I want to highlight an organization fighting to close that gap and stop the stigma ❤️
is a licensed nonprofit that provides period kits to menstruating people all across the world, and last month myself and were honored to be invited to a symphony performance fundraiser benefiting their period kits. There were enough supplies donated in two hours for over 200 women in our very region!

United Way of Monongalia and Preston Counties Day of Caring 🍀💐🌱

I spent the day sprucing up the Mon County child advocacy center! Last year, there were over 250 forensic interviews that took place in this facility - many of them involving disclosures of abuse. Walking into the forensic interview room can be scary, but hopefully walking onto a beautiful campus could help put a mind at ease 🩷
Thank you for not only allowing me to donate my time, but also donate some financial resources needed to carry out this project! We created our own sunshine on this rainy day!!
