*NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING*
Proposed Charleston Water System Lead Service Line Replacement Project

Charleston Water System (CWS) hereby provides notice of a public meeting regarding a proposed Lead Service Line Replacement Project to be considered through the South Carolina Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) program.
The proposed project is intended to permanently remove and replace approximately 941 known lead service lines within the CWS service areas in North Charleston and the Charleston Peninsula. The project may also include replacement of selected undersized water mains, subject to available project funding. The project is being evaluated as part of the Preliminary Engineering Report (PER) and environmental review process required for projects financed through DWSRF.
The public meeting will be held as follows:

The meeting to discuss the following:
✅The need for the project
✅Alternatives considered and the rationale for the selected alternative
✅Anticipated environmental and archaeological impacts of the proposed project
✅Anticipated financial impacts of the proposed project
Representatives of CWS and AECOM Technical Services, Inc. will be available to present information regarding the proposed project and respond to questions from the public.
All interested parties are encouraged to attend and provide comments. Comments received during the meeting will be considered as part of the project planning and public participation process.
