𝗜𝘁’𝘀 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗲’𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀 💙

Our teachers show up every day with care, dedication, and a deep belief in every single scholar.

They create classrooms where scholars feel seen, supported, and challenged to grow and that impact lasts far beyond the school day!

Yesterday, our scholars had the incredible opportunity to hear from Mayor Reggie Burgess as he spent time reading and speaking with both our lower and upper elementary scholars. 💙📚

He shared pieces of his story, reminding our scholars that success doesn’t happen alone.

“𝙈𝙮 𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙣𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙜𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙪𝙥 𝙤𝙣 𝙢𝙚…𝙔𝙤𝙪’𝙫𝙚 𝙜𝙤𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙗𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙫𝙚 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙢, 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙣 𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙢. 𝙈𝙮 𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙜𝙤𝙩 𝙢𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙥𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙩 𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚.”

Moments like these matter. They remind our scholars that their dreams are possible—and that the people around them are here to help them get there.

And in true Compass fashion, our scholars made sure to show their appreciation by presenting Mayor Burgess with one of our very own Compass Shoutouts (don’t miss that moment in the last video 💙)!

Learning came to life this week at Compass Collegiate Academy 💙

Our scholars took learning beyond the classroom with field trips across the Charleston community exploring, asking questions, and experiencing lessons in a whole new way. 🚌📚

From hands-on animal encounters to local landmarks and interactive exhibits, these moments spark curiosity and help build confidence in real time.

We love seeing our scholars connect what they’re learning to the world around them and have a little fun along the way. 💫

As we look ahead to the 2026–2027 school year, enrollment is open and we’d love to welcome new scholars into the Compass community!

A little recap from the past few weeks at Compass Collegiate Academy. 💙✨ From after school programs, to working in our very own garden, to community gatherings that bring everyone together, it has been a busy and joyful time for our scholars. And of course, plenty of dance parties along the way. 💃📚🌱
