Today, we pause to honor a life dedicated to public service.

While we often stood on opposite sides of policy and politics, today is about recognizing Senator Lindsey Graham’s decades of service to South Carolina and our nation.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, loved ones, staff, and all South Carolinians mourning this loss. May they find comfort, peace, and strength in the days ahead.

For those who might not have heard, South Carolina’s U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham passed away yesterday evening after a brief and sudden illness.

I will share the South Carolina Democratic Party official statement once it is released.

Also, I respectfully ask that NO negative or derogatory comments be made here about the late Senator…please.

Today, I’m publicly challenging Jordan Pace to a debate.

The people of HD117 deserve the opportunity to hear both candidates answer tough questions on the same stage, at the same time. We owe voters more than campaign ads and carefully curated social media posts.

I’ll debate anywhere in the district, with a neutral moderator, equal time, and basic rules for fairness—but no rule that shields either candidate’s public record from scrutiny.

Let’s talk about healthcare, education, roads, development, taxes, ethics, public safety, and every vote we’ve taken or position we’ve held. That includes the Freedom Caucus, RJ May, the ethics investigation, and the taxpayer dollars spent forcing compliance with that investigation. Nothing should be off limits.

Unfortunately, Jordan has blocked both my campaign Facebook account and my personal X account from his campaign pages, making it impossible for me to engage with him there or for voters to see that engagement. I hope he’ll choose transparency over blocking and accept this invitation instead.

If you’re proud of your record, stand behind it. The voters deserve to hear from both of us.
