Mark your calendar for June 19 and join us for one of Charleston’s most anticipated Juneteenth celebrations.

From live music and cultural performances to local food, vendors, and a meaningful history lesson at Gadsden Wharf, the Juneteenth Block Party & History Lesson brings the community together for an evening of reflection, celebration, and connection.

Featuring a Michael Jackson tribute concert curated by Ray Chew, a special performance by Javetta Campbell, and the debut of the Gullah Village cultural marketplace.

Professional horn players are also encouraged to join the performance. Trumpet, trombone, and saxophone musicians can apply through the link below. Rehearsal will take place June 18.

Featuring five company members navigating different stages of motherhood, the film offers an intimate look at the challenges, joys, and resilience found in balancing artistry and caregiving.

Join us on June 19 from 6–9 PM for Charleston’s annual Juneteenth Block Party & History Lesson, an evening celebrating freedom, culture, and community.

Enjoy a powerhouse Michael Jackson tribute concert curated by Ray Chew, a special performance by gospel artist Javetta Campbell, a history lesson on Gadsden Wharf, local food trucks, vendors, and the new Gullah Village cultural marketplace.

The Piccolo Spoleto Dance Showcase returns this weekend with an exciting celebration of movement, creativity, and performance.
