We’re proud to share that State Auditor Mark A. Hunt has been invited to speak to citizens of The American Legion Mountaineer Boys State at WVU Jackson’s Mill this Thursday.
Since 1936, Mountaineer Boys State has been West Virginia’s premier week-long leadership and citizenship program for rising high school seniors, where students build their own mock cities, counties, and state government at WVU Jackson’s Mill. Through elections, legislative sessions, courts, and hands-on career tracks, citizens learn how government works by running it themselves, while developing skills in leadership, public service, and civic responsibility.
We’re honored to support a program that has helped generations of young West Virginians discover their potential and prepare to lead in their schools, communities, and our state.
