EnAct Community Action

EnAct Community Action EnAct Community Action is your local community action agency. EnAct's primary funding comes from the Community Service Block Grant through the WVOEO.

Since January 2007, EnAct Community Action has worked to provide service to low income families and individuals in Boone, Clay, Fayette, Kanawha, and Putnam Counties. Under a new name and leadership our goals remain the same, but we also want to develop new and innovative programs that will help low income families and individuals break the cycle of poverty and in turn help our communities grow. O

perating as a Non-Profit Organization we must depend to some degree upon the generous support and partnerships with community leaders to supplement and enhance our current programs. Vision: Community Action changes people's lives, embodies the spirit of hope, improves communities and makes America a better place to live. We care about the entire community, and we are dedicated to helping people help themselves and each other.

We will be giving away food boxes again this afternoon from 4:00 - 6:00. Come to the middle doors in the back where you would normally have your car loaded. Please bring your I.D. if this is your first time visiting us.

It is clearing some back there, and our volunteer's vehicles have been getting through, but if your vehicle doesn't do well in snowy conditions please wait until another day as it is a one lane road, so if one vehicle gets stuck, everyone gets stuck.

68 Holley Avenue, Huntington, WV 25705.

We are excited that The Bridge Project is bringing its transformative program to our region, where they’ll provide no-strings-attached cash assistance to 500 pregnant individuals and their babies in an effort to reduce stress, increase stability, and create positive multi-generational impacts.
