What an AMAZING last full week at The Grove it was!☀️💙

From Kindergarten Water Day 💦 to the 5th Grade AR Auction and water park trip 🌊…from the 1st Grade Fairy Tale Ball ✨ to the 3rd Grade Foam Party 🫧 and our 8th Grade Celebration 🎓 — it was a week full of memories, laughter, and so much fun!

Our students made the most of every moment, and we’re pretty sure all of our teachers needed the long weekend to recover afterward! 😂

A huge thank you to our PTO for the support and finances that made so much of this fun possible for our students!!

We loved celebrating our kindergartners this morning! They always seem to bring us to tears. We’ve loved watching these little humans grow this year! Onward and upward class of 2038!

There is something incredibly special about watching students grow within these walls, graduate from The Grove, and then choose to return once more. Yesterday, we welcomed back the Class of 2026 for their final walk — a tradition that never fails to fill our hearts.

Seeing each of you again reminded us not only of how far you’ve come, but of the memories, friendships, and moments that shaped your journey here. We are endlessly proud of the people you have become and deeply grateful to have been a small part of your story.

Congratulations, graduates — your future is bright, and we cannot wait to see where life takes you next.

As we wrap up another incredible year at The Grove, we’re excited to recognize our final Employee of the Month for the year — Mrs. Kelly Edwards! 🎉
Mrs. Edwards has brought an amazing energy and positive presence to the 8th grade hallway at Orange Grove Middle School. As a dedicated middle school math teacher for both 7th and 8th grade students, she has made a lasting impact through her hard work, passion, and commitment to student success.
We are incredibly proud to honor Mrs. Edwards and celebrate all she has contributed this year.

Voting for our new OGCS Charter Board will take place this Tuesday, May 19th from 8am to 6pm, and only online. Links to all candidate bios went out in an email on Friday. This information can also be found linked in our bio. Here is a quick breakdown explaining this year’s voting process to make sure everyone is prepared. Look for your ballot(s) in your main email address in PowerSchool.

Our 7th graders have what it takes to bear the load and pass the test for Ms Comen in STEAM class. Recently, students engineered their own bridges to see if mere popsicle sticks and glue could hold up to 25 pounds of pressure. Some students not only passed this test, but exceeded their goal with bridges holding more than 125 pounds!
