🌳💪 Rotary Day of Caring! 💪🌳

The Rotary Club of Charles Town rolled up our sleeves and took on Jefferson Memorial Park as part of the United Way of the Eastern Panhandle Day of Caring! Our members spent the morning weeding, trimming, cleaning up, and giving the park a little extra TLC. 🌿✂️

What better way to spend a morning than giving back to the community we’re proud to call home? We had a great time working together, getting our hands dirty, and making Jefferson Memorial Park even more beautiful for everyone to enjoy!

A big THANK YOU to all of our Rotary members who came out and made a difference! ❤️💛 Thank you to City National Bank and Melissa Knott for providing lunch!!!

We enjoyed a terrific lunch meeting today, catered by our friends at GypsySoul Catering, while being reminded of how great the needs are in our community, especially as we approach the holiday season!

Thank you to Becky Linton and Kathy Bradley from Christmas Cash for Kids, who offered an impactful presentation on their program and the support it provides to children throughout our region.

Next week is United Way of the Eastern Panhandle’s Day of Caring so you will see our club’s friendly faces working at Jefferson Memorial Park, as well as at a few other community projects that could use some extra hands!

When students thrive, communities thrive.

The Rotary Club of Charles Town was proud to support Washington High School‘s Chromebook return on May 27. Over 900 Chromebooks were checked back in, already getting ready for next year’s learners! Thank you to everyone who helped make the day an awesome success!

Strong schools are built through strong community partnerships, and we’re grateful to play a small part in supporting our local students.

Rotarians hard at work again! As always Ann did an amazing job with the food. Thank you to everyone that helped bartend, prepared food and clean up! This was a dinner that was sold at the CFC live auction. If this looks like fun to you be sure to attend this year so you can get your bid in!
