September 10th is World Su***de Prevention Day.

Today is a reminder that you never truly know what someone is carrying behind the scenes.

Some people are struggling quietly. They may laugh, go to work, take care of their families, and tell everyone they're "fine" while fighting battles no one else can see.

So today, check on your people.
Send the text. Make the phone call. Sit with them. Listen without judgement. Remind them that they matter.

And if you are the person who is struggling, please know this:

YOU ARE NOT A BURDEN. YOU ARE NOT ALONE. YOUR LIFE HAS VALUE, EVEN WHEN YOU CAN'T FEEL IT RIGHT NOW. Asking for help isn't weakness - it takes incredible strength.

You don't have to have the right words. You don't have to know what comes next. You just have to make it through today.

๐Ÿ’›If you or someone you know if struggling with thoughts of su***de, call or text 988 to reach the Su***de & Crisis Lifeline. You are worth the call

Let's make it a little easier for people to say, "I'm not okay," and a little easier for them to hear "I'm here. You don't have to face this alone."

Check in. Listen. Stay. ๐Ÿ’›

๐ŸŽ’๐Ÿ“š Back-to-school season is here!

As families get ready for a new school year, August is also National Immunization Awareness Monthโ€”a great reminder to make sure children and teens are up to date on recommended vaccines.

Vaccines help protect students, families, teachers, and our communities from serious, preventable diseases. Before the first bell rings, take a moment to check your childโ€™s immunization record and talk with their healthcare provider about any vaccines they may need.

โœ… Check immunization records
โœ… Schedule a back-to-school wellness visit
โœ… Ask your healthcare provider about recommended vaccines
โœ… Start the school year healthy and protected!

Hereโ€™s to a safe, healthy, and successful school year! ๐ŸŽโœ๏ธ
