Chariton Parks and Recreation The Chariton Parks and Recreational Department provides recreational opportunities to the City of Chariton and its residents to 3:15 p.m. to 3:15 p.m.; 6:30 p.m.

The Chariton Parks and Recreation Department oversees the Chariton Community Center. Part-time Supervisors are stationed at the Community Center throughout the year for assistance. Seasonal hours for the Community Center are posted below. May 1st through October 31st:
Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m. November 1st through April 30th:
Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
