On this Patriot Day, we take a moment to remember the lives forever changed on September 11, 2001.

We honor the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice, the first responders who answered the call without hesitation, and the families who continue to carry their loved ones in their hearts.

As we remember the lives lost that day, we also remember how our nation and communities came together. Neighbors helped neighbors. Strangers became friends. People stood side by side with courage, compassion, and a shared commitment to one another.

We are grateful to be part of a community that continues to care for and support one another. May we honor those we lost by carrying forward the compassion, courage, and unity that brought us together during one of our nation's darkest moments.

Siren in the distance? Lights in your rearview mirror?

Knowing how to safely yield helps emergency responders get where they need to go. If an emergency vehicle is approaching, stay alert, safely move out of its path and follow your state's laws.

🚨 When approaching a stopped emergency vehicle with flashing lights, move into a non-adjacent lane or slow down if you can't safely change lanes. Move Over laws are in all 50 states!
