🦕 We unearthed a lot of fun at today's Summer Reading Program! With help from our local 4-H Extension Office, 35 kids learned about the different parts of dinosaurs, moved like different dinosaurs, and created dinosaurs of their very own!

A special congratulations to Elizabeth for winning today's prize, kindly donated by Chappell Lumber!

A dino-sized THANK YOU to all of our volunteers who helped make today's program such a success, especially our amazing youth volunteers. You are tricera-TOPS! 💚

We had a blast Unearthing a Story yesterday! 🌱📚

A huge thank you to our local 4-H Extension Office for helping us dig into the world of soil. The kids enjoyed a story, played a game of Erosion Tag, and even made a yummy snack showing the layers of soil!

We were excited to welcome 48 kids for the day! Thank you to everyone who joined us.

There's still plenty more to discover! Join us for our last 3 Summer Reading sessions: June 4, 9, and 11 from 9–10 AM

This free activity is perfect for families, children, and anyone who loves a good story while exploring downtown!

Today was a ROAR-ing success at the library! 🦖✨

Our older library friends got creative and built their very own Recyclosauruses, while our younger dino lovers had a blast making paper plate dinosaurs! We wrapped up the day with Dino Bingo and delicious dirt cups topped with dinosaur gummies. 🦕🍫

A HUGE thank you to our amazing volunteers and the parents who went above and beyond to help make today so special. We couldn’t do it without you! 💚

We can’t wait to unearth more stories and adventures with you during Week 2 of Summer Reading! See you next time, dino explorers! 📚⛏️

🦖 Unearth a Story! 🦖

Day one of our Summer Reading Program came in with a ROAR and we had a dino-mite time! 🦕✨

Our young paleontologists got creative making Q-tip dinosaur skeletons, painting dinosaurs with Q-tips, and snapping photos with our BIG dinosaur friend! 📸🦖
