Chapel Hill's draft Land Use Management Ordinance (LUMO) includes new incentives for affordable housing, expands opportunities for triplexes and fourplexes, and creates a new "missing middle" zoning district, all aimed at increasing the supply of attainable homes.

This initiative reflects the town’s commitment to expanding housing opportunities and recognizes the incredible work being done by organizations across our community to ensure everyone has a safe, affordable place to call home. We’re proud to stand alongside so many dedicated partners working toward a more equitable Chapel Hill for all.

The Orange County Affordable Housing Coalition and the UNC School of Medicine Community Practice Lab are searching for the next CPL-OCAHC Graduate Intern to play a central coordinating role within OCAHC!
