🥶❄️ Brutal Cold & Snowstorm Coming ❄️🥶

With the upcoming snowstorm and extreme cold front, Wehlage Family Farm wants to help keep outdoor pets warm and safe.
If your furry friends must stay outside and need extra warmth, we are giving away straw bales FREE of charge to anyone in need for outdoor pet shelters.

✅ Only avaliable for outdoor pets.
✅ Maximum of 2 bales per person
✅ Free delivery in Chanute, Iola, and Humboldt
✅ Free help spreading straw around outdoor shelters if needed

This cold front is expected to bring possible heavy snow and dangerously low wind chills lasting several days. Straw provides excellent insulation and can make a big difference for pets exposed to these frigid temperatures.

Good news — it looks like the weather is clearing up, and we’ll be open tomorrow for our last day of the season! 🌤️

This is your final chance to enjoy the patch, so let’s treat it like a closing ceremony and go out with a bang! 🎉

It might be a little muddy, but that shouldn’t stop anyone from having fun with all the activities we’ve got waiting for you.

Please note: since this is our final day of the season, there will be no refunds if rain happens to move in during operating hours.

🌧Closed Oct. 25th Pumpkin Patch🚫

It makes us sad to share that our pumpkin patch will be closed today due to the rain we’ve received and more on the way.

This final weekend is always one of our favorites, and it’s tough to see the weather impact it. But our goal is to make sure everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience, and today’s conditions just won’t allow that.

We’re hopeful tomorrow brings better weather so we can end the season on a high note and celebrate one last great day on the farm together.

🚫 Haunted Maze & Wooded Trail Update- CANCELED OCTOBER 24TH DUE TO RAIN 🌧
(Updated @4:20pm Oct. 24th)

We were so excited to scare and chase you around the farm in the dark, but unfortunately, Mother Nature had other plans.

Due to the rain we’ve received throughout the day and more on the way this evening, we will be canceling tonight’s Haunted Maze.

Our main goal is always to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for guests and our staff. With the current conditions, that just isn’t possible.

The forecast for tomorrow (Oct. 25th) also isn’t looking favorable, hopefully the weather will give us a break. Please follow and check our page for updates before heading out to the farm. We’ll stay proactive, keep an eye on the weather, and make the best decisions we can as things develop.

Your night begins with a tractor ride through the dark, twisted woods, but that’s only the beginning of the nightmare.
Once you’re dropped off at the Haunted Maze, you’ll have to escape in total darkness — while a carnival of clowns stalks your every move. Some even brought chainsaws. 🪓🤡

🔥 Before & After the Scare:
Warm up around the fire pit with professionally served adult beverages, s’mores, hot chocolate, and other delicious concessions! 🍫☕🍺

⚠️ WARNING:
This event is packed with jump scares, clowns, chases, and chainsaws. If you don’t like being scared or hate clowns… this might just be your worst nightmare. Do not enter if you do not like being chased or scared. 😱💀
