On this , we thank our friends at Wegmans for helping to stock our shelves by asking customers to round up at checkout! Today is the last day to round up when shopping at Wegmans Chantilly located at 14361 Newbrook Dr, Chantilly, VA 20151 to support the work of WFCM.

Book donation delivery day at Brookfield Elementary School, the beneficiary of our club's 2025/26 District grant. We partnered with several other Rotary clubs as the lead club, to purchase new books to support literacy at Title I elementary school. Each club worked with a school in its locality. (May 2026).

What began as one woman's vision to preserve a place of natural beauty has become one of Fairfax County's most treasured parks. In 1971, David Lawrence honored his wife Ellanor's wish by donating 640 acres of Walney and Middlegate to the Fairfax County Park Authority, creating a lasting legacy for generations to enjoy.

Today, visitors explore scenic trails, discover local history, connect with nature, and create lifelong memories at ECLP—all thanks to Ellanor's foresight and generosity.

As we celebrate this milestone, we invite you to be part of the next chapter. Whether through volunteering, attending events, advocating for the park, or making a donation to ECLP Friends, your support helps preserve and protect this special place for future generations.

Together, we can ensure Ellanor's legacy continues to thrive for the next 55 years and beyond.
