We offer an array of outreaches focused on building healthier communities from educational classes to social activities, care/support groups, volunteering and other community services. Our programs and initiatives are focused on community development in four key areas: Life Skills, Life Sharing, Life Service, and Life Support. Current programs include:

SPRING
Spring reaches out to the community's

underserved residents by providing practical household items, furniture, small appliances and baby equipment to people in crisis and the "working poor". We currently work with Fairfax County Public School social workers, a variety of shelters, and local service organizations devoted to caring for those in need and helping them in their quest for self sufficiency. Grab Your Groceries is an outreach which focuses on the community's underserved residents. We provide food to individuals and families that are in "crisis" and may go to bed hungry if the food was not available. Our goal is to become a vital resource to professionals and organizations who work with the underserved population while providing service opportunities for the community at large. Currently we work with Prince William County Public Schools, social workers, shelters, local service organizations, and churches devoted to caring for those in need by helping them in their quest for self sufficiency. Through the year Passion for Community offers a variety of FREE workshops to the local community. Workshops include anything from financial workshops, to marriage workshops, to parenting workshops. Check P4C's website or page frequently for workshops coming up!

🚛 Big Truck. Bigger Impact.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of an anonymous supporter, Passion for Community has a brand-new 26-foot Freightliner box truck! 🎉

This amazing gift will help us pick up more furniture, deliver more household essentials, and serve even more local families as they transition into safe, comfortable homes.

Now we need a few more heroes to help keep it rolling!

We're looking for:
🚚 Experienced volunteer truck drivers (No CDL or special license required!) to help us pick up and deliver furniture to families in need. We will work with your schedule!

Whether you can volunteer your time or connect us with someone who can, you'll be helping us deliver hope—one home at a time.

😴 A bed changes more than where someone sleeps.

It changes how they wake up.

For many families we serve, moving into permanent housing means starting with...almost nothing.

Last year, because of generous supporters, 165 people received a brand-new bed.

That means:

💙 Better sleep.
💙 Better health.
💙 Better mornings.
💙 Better futures.

Every bed tells a story of hope, healing, and a fresh start.

🍽️ It's the little things that make a house feel like home.

We're currently looking for gently used:
🍽️ Dishes, glasses, bowls and mugs
🥣 Cookware and bakeware
🔪Kitchen knives and serving utensils
☕ Coffeemakers, toasters, blenders and other small appliances

These everyday essentials help families cook meals, welcome guests, and begin new chapters with dignity.

Donate household items and help complete a family's home.
