Our little slice of historic Route 66 just got a lot more colorful!

We are excited to share that one of two new Route 66 benches has officially arrived in town. The benches were made possible through a tourism grant supporting the 100th Anniversary of Route 66 and the 100 Year Road Trip initiative.

Thank you to the Channahon Arts & Culture Commission for their continued efforts to help bring new and vibrant public art and attractions to our town.

Be sure to stop by the Manor Motel, snap some photos, and check out the new bench for yourself. The second bench will also be arriving soon!

Memorial Day weekend is a time remember and honor those that gave their lives.

In observance of the holiday, the Village Hall will be closed. However, you can join us, Monday, May 25, at 9:00 am as we remember/reflect on those that have died in military service to the United States of America. Proudly wear your red, white and blue to honor them.
