CPD was proud to participate in the 16th Annual Men Who Cook event benefiting the Will County Children’s Advocacy Center. 🧑‍🍳

Our team brought the personality, creativity, and wrestling inspired theme, taking home 2nd place in the Theme Category! 🤼‍♂️🎉

More importantly, we were proud to be part of an event that supports such an important cause and helps provide hope, healing, and justice for children in our community.

A big thank you to the Will County Children’s Advocacy Center, the event organizers, and everyone who came out to support this amazing cause. We’re grateful to be part of a community that comes together to make a difference!

The Channahon Police Department has received several calls regarding the Metropolitan Alliance of Police (MAP) union making solicitation calls for donations.

While MAP Chapter 45 represents our patrol officers, the Channahon Police Department does not solicit donations over the phone. Additionally, our officers are not making calls on the union's behalf. The Channahon Police Department does not receive any of the funds collected.

If you receive a call from somebody identifying themselves as a Channahon Police Officer or claiming to be calling on behalf of the Channahon Police Department, please try to get the caller’s name, a return number, and call 815-467-2112 to report the activity.

Bluff Road is currently closed between Route 6 and Valley Drive due to a traffic crash.

Motorists are asked to avoid the area, seek alternate routes, and use caution while emergency personnel work at the scene.

If you need police services during this time, parking will be available at Village Hall. From there, please use the sidewalk to walk over to the Police Department.

A Ride to School with the Channahon Police Department is being offered as an auction item through the Village of Channahon Arts & Culture Sips, Sights & Sounds event!

One child will get the opportunity to ride to school in a Channahon PD squad car! Child must be a resident of Channahon and attend a school district that serves the residents of Channahon.

📢 Anyone can bid! You do not need to purchase a ticket or attend the event to participate in the auction.
