100% of Basha High Early Childhood Education 2026 Seniors earn National CDA Credential

The CDA, or Child Development Associate, credential is a nationally recognized certification for early childhood professionals, awarded by the Council for Professional Recognition. It demonstrates competency in delivering high-quality care and education to young children from birth to age five. The CDA Credential provides students with pathways to employment, career development, and higher education. All Basha High Early Childhood Education seniors earned their CDA credential by completing the credential requirements which include over 120 hours of professional development, completing relevant work internship experience, passing a national exam, demonstrating applied workplace skills during a verification observation, and submitting a professional portfolio. Congratulations!
Way to go Early Childhood Education, well deserved.

Chandler High Career and Technical Student Organizations built dog houses to donate to a local dog rescue. Mr. Chris Todd and his wood shop students designed the dog houses and created the kits. Chandler FFA received a grant from the National FFA to fund the project. Woods, Auto, TV Production, Sports Med, Culinary, and Agriculture students participated.

Career and Technical Student Organization teams competed in challenges to earn tools and prizes. The goal of the event was to build teamwork skills among organizations while building and decorating doghouse.

Way to go to all the students who came together as a team with building their doghouses.

During the first week of school, Chandler High FFA Agriscience students began propagating a variety of plants in preparation for a special Mother’s Day project. Throughout the process, they gained hands-on experience in plant cultivation and assisted with the installation of a new irrigation system. This week, the students added their personal touch by decorating custom pots. They are incredibly proud of their work and excited to bring these gifts home to their supportive families and FFA mothers.

The plants look amazing. Great job CHS Ag students.
