Chandler Firefighter Charities Chandler Firefighter Charities was founded to directly assist residents in times of crisis. In 1994 this fund was set up to allow donations throughout the year.

Chandler Firefighters Charities is a 501c3 non profit that was formed by City of Chandler Firefighters in 1994. Due to the nature of our job, we see people on what is typically not their best day. At times we see the need to help people beyond fire or medical services. This could be as simple as handing them a bottle of water or getting them a place to stay because they had a fire in their house a

nd have no where to go. In the past, crew members would empty their own pockets to assist the families on the spot. We now have six board members that donate their time to manage this fund. We are still gathering the majority of our funds through our firefighters donating money from each paycheck. However, this has grown into donations from other city employees as well as citizens. We are fortunate now to have funds available to more and more citizens, as well as assisting with community programs, special projects, and funding a CPR program for the community.
