This past week, during the Kyrene Aprende and Pueblo Middle Schools end-of-year 8th grade promotions, our Chandler Kiwanis members, Dawn Lang (pictured) and Vega Gibides (not pictured), had the honor of presenting four $100 certificates to deserving students.

Each student was thoughtfully selected by their school staff for their kindness, generosity, and serving hearts—qualities that truly make a difference in their school communities.

This year is especially bittersweet, as it marks the final chapter for Kyrene Pueblo, a school that has touched so many lives over the years.

We are proud to celebrate these outstanding students and wish all graduates from both schools a bright and successful future as they head into high school!

Another Saturday fundraiser(and final for the season!) in the books for the Chandler Kiwanis 🌸
Four amazing teams of two — the Langs, Campbells, Gibides, and Roes — delivered 75+ beautiful flower bouquets to so many wonderful moms across the East Valley! There’s nothing quite like the smiles and heartfelt moments when handing over a bouquet and wishing someone a happy Mother’s Day weekend 💐
We wrapped up the day the best way possible — gathering together for a late lunch and drinks, celebrating not just a successful fundraiser, but the joy of giving back and making a difference in our community.
Grateful for this incredible group of friends, already looking forward to next season! 💕

The CHANDLER Kiwanis Club is proud to support Kamp Kiwanis with a donation toward a brand-new freezer! A check was recently delivered by Bob Briedenbach to help make this much-needed upgrade possible.

This contribution helps ensure Kamp Kiwanis can continue providing a great experience for all who visit. Thank you to everyone who makes these improvements possible!

Many Gallup Key Club members and Kiwanis volunteers were also there this past weekend helping clean up and make repairs. Your time and dedication truly make a difference!

The next volunteer weekend is the last weekend of October—we would love to see even more support. We encourage additional Southwest District Kiwanis Clubs to get involved by volunteering and donating to Kamp Kiwanis. Together, we can continue to improve and preserve this special place for years to come.

The Perry High Key Club wrapped up an amazing year with a wonderful end-of-year celebration! 🎉
We honored our Volunteer of the Year recipients and awarded one scholarship, proudly presented by Dawn and Nancy from the Chandler Kiwanis Club. Our graduating seniors were recognized with their well-earned Key Club cords—such a special moment to celebrate their dedication and service!
We also thanked our retiring officers for their leadership and officially installed the incoming executive board—excited to see what this next group will accomplish! And a BIG THANK YOU to Perry's Key Club Faculty Advisor Senora Vaughn for her dedication and service!

The Hamilton High Key Club wrapped up the year with a great end-of-year celebration at their final meeting today! 🎉
Twelve seniors were honored with their Key Club cords, and President Ava introduced the new board for the 2026–2027 school year. Nancy Campbell from Chandler Kiwanis shared a message on the importance of volunteering, and Miss DeMore recognized the two Volunteer of the Year recipients.
We also presented Miss DeMore with a gift card to thank her for her dedication as faculty advisor.

Monday afternoon was Campo Verde Key Club’s turn to celebrate with the Chandler Kiwanis Club! We loved recognizing our amazing seniors as they received their Key Club cords—such a special milestone.
Congratulations to this year’s seniors, Victoria and Charlie, scholarship recipients, and Volunteer of the Year honorees—you’ve truly made a difference! 💙💛
