Good Morning!!

Effective Immediately, Lincoln County is now under a BURN BAN for 14 days. At that time, it will be reevaluated by the Board of County Commissioners for extension.

Below is a copy of the resolution which lists the stipulations of the burn ban.

Lincoln County Wildland Strike Team has made it back to county safely. We are thankful to have the opportunity to help agencies across the state. Thank you for all of your support and prayers for safety!

We had to take advantage of the photo opportunity when we had it.

At 05:00 this morning, Lincoln County Emergency Management deployed with a strike team en route to Woodward, OK, to assist with the Burnt Canyon Fire. Our team included Lincoln County assets from Agra Fire, Kendrick Fire, Prague Fire, and Wellston Fire. Neighbors to our west with Luther Fire answered the call and completed our team. Thoughts and prayers for safety go out to all the teams for traveling and giving a helping hand.

We would like to take a moment and give a HUGE THANK YOU to Enterprise, Enbridge, and the Safety Alliance of Cushing. They stepped up this morning to help our responders throughout the county by a large donation of water. Between the 3, they donated a total of 504 cases of water! This water is vital in keeping responders hydrated as they work in the heat we are experiencing.

Good Evening everyone!!

Our fire departments have been extremely busy throughout the county with wildfires. Unfortunately, this could be only the beginning of fire season with current conditions. All our fire departments are needing rehab supplies.

These supplies include:
Water
Gatorade
Electrolyte Drip Mixes (drip drop, liquid iv, fire salt)
Individually packaged snacks (that won’t melt)
Chapstick
Eye Drops

These supplies can also be dropped off with us and we can distribute them as needed.

Please give these guys plenty of room to work. Stay safe and hydrated!

Please remember our friends, their families, and fellow firefighters in your thoughts and prayers. Two firefighters were critically injured when they suffered a catastrophic tire failure while returning from a call.
