The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office is proud to announce that K9 Fury and K9 Jolley have received a generous donation of critical safety equipment through the Protection4Paws Grant Program.

This life-saving equipment, valued at over $3,000, enhances the safety and protection of our K9 partners as they serve and protect the citizens of Lincoln County.

The donated kits, manufactured by AceK9.com, include advanced features such as:
✅ Heat Alarm Pro with automatic window drop and siren alerts
✅ “No K9 Left Behind” end-of-shift reminders
✅ AceWatchDog™ system providing real-time alerts directly to the handler’s phone

In addition, each K9 received a medical kit (Buddy Bag), valued at $400, equipped with essential tools to provide immediate care in emergency situations.

We are incredibly grateful to the Protection4Paws Grant Program and its supporters for their commitment to protecting K9 officers across the country. Their generosity directly impacts the safety and well-being of the dogs who work tirelessly alongside our deputies.

Many K9 units are still in need of this vital equipment. If you would like to support this effort or learn more, please visit www.protection4paws.com

From Sheriff Kevin Garrett – Lincoln County, OK

Over the past day, our office received many reports about a suspected puppy mill in Stroud. I’m grateful to say this cruel operation has been shut down. Huge thanks to Skiatook Paws & Claws Animal Rescue, Oklahoma Alliance for Animals, and Oklahoma Westie Rescue for bringing this to light.

This is a powerful reminder of what we can accomplish when first responders and community partners work together. The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office was honored to assist Stroud Police, Stroud Fire, the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, and Lincoln County Emergency Management in making sure these animals are safe.

Around 200 dogs are being evaluated and rescued from terrible conditions. Thank you to everyone who spoke up and to all the agencies and volunteers working so hard to give these dogs the care they deserve.
