The pond at Wi******er Park is closed to fishing until tomorrow after the Kid Fish tournament. We would appreciate your cooperation. Police will be monitoring this location and violators could face being banned from the park. Thank you

A severe thunderstorm that has produced large hail is heading toward the Chandler area from Athens. This storm is moving quickly, be prepared for heavy rain and hail. Keep an eye on weather channels for updates.

A tornado watch has been issued for parts of Texas including Henderson County until 1 a.m.

Sportmans Paradise,
The contractor who is installing the new main water line is working thru an issue and the water will be off for a short period. Service should be restored shortly, there is no break in the line and no boil notice is necessary at this time. We apologize for the inconvenience.
