Thank you to everyone who came out today for such a special event. The Chandler Police Department, Chandler Volunteer Fire Department, and Ohio Township Fire Department had the privilege of spending time with some great Chandler Elementary School students. Do to the generous donations from Hucks Market, these children spent time having pizza and shopping with some incredible first responders.

Yesterday, the Chandler Police Department along with surrounding agencies including Chandler Volunteer Fire Department, Warrick County Sheriff's Office, Ohio Township Fire Department, and the Indiana State Police, had the privilege in attending a 1st birthday party for an amazing kiddo. We were informed that Krue has a love for police cars and fire trucks, so in true community spirit, this group of first responders decided to give him a little surprise. You see, Krue has been diagnosed with a rare form of Leukemia known as JMML and he will be receiving treatment over the next several months, so to spend just a few minutes with this little warrior was truly an honor. Please keep Krue and his family in your prayers.

The Chandler Police Department will be conducting a new application process for the position of full-time police officer. Applications will be available starting September 1st, 2025 and must be turned in complete by September 30th, 2025. Applications can be picked up Monday-Friday between 8:30am and 2pm at 401 Lincoln Av E, Chandler Indiana 47610 (Chandler Town Hall building).
