🎨Yesterday, we were honored to welcome the Artists of Marm, a local collective of talented artists, as they presented a generous donation to the Don Moyer Boys & Girls Club.
A few years ago during the Boneyard Arts Festival, they invited community members to pick up a paintbrush and add their own mark to a collaborative piece of artwork. Their vision was simple but powerful: create something together, sell the finished piece, and use the proceeds to support local youth.
One artist shared a reflection that perfectly captured why this gift means so much:
"So many people added their own brush marks to it, just like at Don Moyer Boys & Girls Club. And then the kids come and bring all of their own colors."
We couldn't think of a better description of what happens here every day.
Thank you to the Artists of Marm for your creativity, generosity, and belief in the young people we serve. Your support helps ensure that every youth who walks through our doors has the opportunity to discover their own unique gifts and add their own colors to our community.
