Today, we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and the families, first responders (including the working dogs), service members, and communities forever changed by that day. 🇺🇸
Home can mean many things. It can be a place of safety, a gathering place for family, or simply the feeling of being surrounded by people who care.
On this day of remembrance, we’re especially mindful of how precious those things are. May we continue to look out for one another, care for our communities, and help create places where everyone has the opportunity to feel safe, supported, and at home.

Today, we celebrate the progress we've made and the work that continues toward a more equitable future. Access to safe, stable housing creates opportunities for healthier families, stronger communities, and brighter futures. That's why Habitat for Humanity's program is about more than just building homes. It's also about empowering women to build confidence, develop new skills, and create lasting change in their communities.

Since 1991, Women Build has brought together volunteers from all walks of life to help build affordable homes while creating opportunities for women to learn new skills, lead with confidence, and strengthen their communities. Whether you're an experienced builder or picking up a hammer for the first time, everyone is welcome.

When you donate a car, you're also supporting this mission. The proceeds help fund Habitat's affordable housing programs—including Women Build—so more families have the foundation they need to thrive.
