Downtown Chamblee Downtown Chamblee includes the residents, business, city boards and committees that make Chamblee's historic city center a great place to visit and invest.

To ensure that the work of the Chamblee Downtown Development Authority represents the wishes of not only the business owners but the residents of the City of Chamblee, the CDDA will follow the Main Street Four Point Approach:

Design: Enhancing the physical appearance of the commercial district by rehabilitating historic buildings, encouraging supportive new construction, developing sensitive desi

gn management systems, and long-term planning. Organization: Building consensus and cooperation among the many groups and individuals who have a role in the revitalization process. Promotion: Marketing the traditional commercial district’s assets to customers, potential investors, new businesses, local citizens and visitors. Economic Restructuring: Strengthening the district’s existing economic base while finding ways to expand it to meet new opportunities — and challenges from outlying development.

Are you interested in planning, organizing and the financing of projects that revitalize and redevelop Chamblee's downtown?

Downtown Chamblee needs you! Apply for the Chamblee Downtown Authority (CDDA) before February 25.

Chamblee Downtown Development Authority (CDDA) members must be a resident, a business owner, or a property owner in the downtown area. Members must take at least eight hours of training on downtown development and redevelopment programs within the first 12 months of their appointment to the CDDA.
