BREAKING: Pennsylvania State Police and local departments across the state will be increasing DUI enforcement efforts this weekend as part of a large overnight impaired driving initiative.
Extra patrols, checkpoints, and traffic enforcement operations are expected in multiple areas throughout Pennsylvania during the late night and early morning hours.

Officials say the focus is on reducing impaired driving and improving roadway safety heading into the weekend.

Multiple emergency crews were dispatched for a 5–10-acre wildfire near 1221 K**b Hill Road in Greene Township, Franklin County.

DCNR reported air tankers 855 and 873 are en route to conduct water drops. There are approximately 272 structures (257 are residential) within a one-mile radius with an estimated population of 537.

One residence is endangered and has been evacuated. Caledonia State Park is just to the southeast but is not affected.

No other injuries or evacuations have been reported at this time.
