Today, Sheriff Sites and Chief Deputy Foy traveled to Harrisburg to participate in the 3rd Annual Pennsylvania Sheriffs' Association Day on the Hill.
The day provided an excellent opportunity to meet with state lawmakers, discuss issues impacting sheriffs' offices across the Commonwealth, and advocate for the needs of our communities and law enforcement professionals.

While we didn't capture as many photos as we would have liked throughout the day, we were fortunate to reconnect with several local representatives and friends who are now serving in new roles. We appreciate the time they took to meet with us and discuss matters important to Franklin County and Pennsylvania's sheriffs.

Thank you to the Pennsylvania Sheriffs' Association for organizing another successful Day on the Hill and for providing sheriffs from across the Commonwealth a unified voice in Harrisburg.

Today, the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office was proud to be a part of two great events happening simultaneously in our community!
Deputy Dempsey attended Career Day at James Buchanan High School, speaking with students about careers in law enforcement and public service. At the same time, Deputy Kaetzel represented the Sheriff’s Office at CMStival at the Career Magnet School, where students enjoyed a fun-filled field day and community activities.
We appreciate the opportunity to connect with students, staff, and families while supporting events that bring our community together. Thank you to everyone who invited us to participate!

On May 20th, the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office coordinated and led “Operation Spring Cleaning,” a multi-agency warrant initiative targeting wanted individuals throughout Franklin County.

Weeks of preparation and collaboration brought together personnel from the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), United States Marshals Service, Homeland Security, Pennsylvania State Police, Pennsylvania State Parole, Franklin County Probation, and the Greencastle Police Department.

As a result of this operation:
• 13 wanted individuals were taken into custody
• Numerous fi****ms and illegal drugs were seized, including ma*****na, crack co***ne, and methamphetamine

We want to also thank and recognize that these types of joint efforts in the community could not be done without the amazing staff at Franklin County DES and the Franklin County Jail.

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank all participating agencies for their teamwork, professionalism, and commitment to keeping our communities safe.

Operations such as these demonstrate the effectiveness of law enforcement partnerships and our continued commitment to locating wanted offenders and combating criminal activity throughout Franklin County.

On Wednesday May 13, 2026, deputies with the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office located a felony vehicle from New Jersey in Chambersburg Borough tied to ALLAN DAVID DOMINGUEZ, who was wanted on an active warrant out of New Jersey for eluding law enforcement.

When deputies went to make contact, DOMINGUEZ attempted to flee into a residence and then on foot through a fenced area while actively resisting arrest. After a brief struggle, deputies were able to safely take him into custody.

During the investigation, DOMINGUEZ also provided false identifying information to law enforcement. Deputies additionally recovered suspected ma*****na and drug paraphernalia from the scene.

DOMINGUEZ has been charged in Pennsylvania with Evading Arrest or Detention on Foot, Resisting Arrest, False Identification to Law Enforcement, Disorderly Conduct, Possession of Ma*****na, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, in addition to the active New Jersey warrant.
