Happy Dairy Month!
According to the Center for Dairy Excellence, Franklin County is home to about 300 dairy farms! Celebrate Dairy month this June by enjoying your favorite dairy product!

June is Dairy Month!

This month was made for Pennsylvania. Pennsylvania is home to second most dairies in the United States — 93% of which are family owned! Our farmers work hard to care for their cattle so they produce high-quality, nutritious milk, and countless value-added products that feed families in Pennsylvania and beyond.

With warm weather on the way, we invite you to celebrate Dairy Month the right way — with a large scoop of ice cream! 🍨

As we gather with family and friends this Memorial Day, Pennsylvania Farm Bureau pauses to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation. Their courage and devotion have preserved the freedoms which shape the fabric of our communities.

This day of remembrance carries deep meaning for our farming families, many of whom have proudly served or have loved ones in the armed forces. We are reminded that the strength and resilience that define American agriculture are deeply connected to the same values upheld by our servicemen and women.

As we reflect on the legacy of those who gave their lives for our freedom, let us also extend our gratitude to the families they left behind. Their sacrifice is felt every day, and we stand with them in solemn appreciation.

May this Memorial Day be a time of remembrance, unity, and hope.

In lieu of our Annual Summer Picnic, this year we are hosting a member appreciation Ice Cream Social, located at the Franklin County Fair! Make sure you have a valid membership card to show at the gate to get free parking on Friday July 10. Free ice cream for members & our annual auction with proceeds benefitting the FARM-Tastic Book Program!
