Possessing, igniting, discharging or using any kind of fireworks is prohibited on national forests and grasslands.

National Wildland Firefighters Day

We would like to thank and honor all those past and present who have supported wildland firefighting. From the firefighters, to dispatchers, map creators, equipment operators, radio technicians, public information officers and all others who support wildland fire response.

We would also ask you to keep in your thoughts those currently fighting the wildland fires in Utah and Colorado.

Pennsylvania's New Distracted Driver's Law, Miller's Law, goes into effect today.

Wildfire Danger

Due to the dry and windy conditions, it is advised to not have outdoor fires at this time. Embers from outdoors fires can cause spot fires that grow into uncontrolled brush, wild and structural fires. Please do your part to not cause fires.

Heads up, Pennsylvania: Warm, dry conditions are raising wildfire risks.

Please avoid brush burning and outdoor fires for now. If you absolutely must burn, use extreme caution and never leave a fire unattended. Be Safe, PA!
