We are seeing tragic incidents (such as the one shared below) on such a regular basis lately. We'd be remiss if we did not share for awareness.

Parents: Please make sure that your kids know that cruising through stop signs or flying down the middle of Butler is A) illegal & B) 100% not safe.

I think we can all agree that NOBODY needs an incident such as this on their conscious.

Stay safe out there.

In Week 2 of the 2026 Fire Company Softball Series, the Plumsteadville Volunteer Fire Company faced off against your Chalfont Fire Company.

It’s always fun when we play the PVFC as we’ve had a long-standing agreement to cover each other's fire stations so the other can enjoy their Annual Fire Company Banquets.

Chalfont went home with a 35-10 win today and are now 2-0 for the season!

Last night your Chalfont Fire Company hosted a training entitled "EV/AFV Incident Management: Safety and Response Techniques." Several local (and some not-so local) fire companies, EMS, and law enforcement agencies attended which made this session a huge success.

We appreciate you all for coming and hope to host more trainings such as this in the years to come. Stay tuned.

A special thanks goes out to Chief Brian Focht for taking the time to present the material in his always professional and informative manner!

Stay safe ... and hydrated ... out there!

Do you know the difference between Heat Exhaustion and Heat Stroke?

Most people do not ... and that can be deadly to some.

Know the symptoms and please be careful out there!

Hydration is key!

One of the first signs of heat illness is muscle cramps, so if you start cramping up it's time to act:

— Get someplace cooler, stat ☃️
— Remove excess clothing 👋
— Drink a cool sports drink 🧃
— Avoid caffeine/alcohol 🚫🍸

Seek medical help if your cramps don't go away in an hour, you have heart problems, or you are on a low-sodium diet.
