πΊπΈ Chadds Ford Township was proud to participate in the America250PADelco Local Share Grant Program award ceremony at Newlin Grist Mill, celebrating $650,000 in grant funding awarded to organizations throughout Delaware County in advance of America's 250th Anniversary.
We are especially proud to congratulate several Chadds Ford-area organizations that received funding, including the Brandywine Battlefield Park and the Chadds Ford Historical Society. These investments will help support educational programming, interpretive signage, and other initiatives that preserve and share the rich history of our community.
Thank you to Senator John Kane and PA State Rep. Craig Williams for their efforts in securing this important funding and supporting historic preservation and heritage tourism throughout Delaware County.
We would also like to recognize Township Supervisor Kathleen Goodyear Goodier, who attended today's event. In addition to serving as Chair of the Chadds Ford Township Board of Supervisors, Kathleen also serves as President of the Board of the Brandywine Battlefield Park and has been a strong advocate for preserving and promoting the history of Chadds Ford.
As we commemorate America's 250th Anniversary, we look forward to seeing these projects enhance the visitor experience and help tell the stories that make Chadds Ford such a special place in our nation's history.
