It’s time for Wellness Wednesday! This week we're focusing on mental wellness.

Cognitive decline is not an inevitable part of aging. A 2024 study in JAMA Neurology found a direct link between healthy lifestyle habits and better cognitive function, even among those with early markers of dementia.

Staying engaged and catching changes early matters. Connect with our team of Aging Life Care Managers® at (888) 721-1975 for a complimentary phone consultation.

Grandparents Day is around the corner. This year, let them be the expert in the room.

-Ask them to teach you something only they know.
-Record a story before it's only a memory.
-Ask the question you've always wanted to ask but never did.

And if yours is only with you in memory, tell us about them in the comments. We'd be honored to hear about them. ⬇️

September is Healthy Aging Month and we're kicking off five weeks of healthy aging tips rooted in our work with older adults and their families.

This week we're focusing on social wellness.

In 2024, 29% of older adults reported feeling lonely or isolated and the health consequences are real. One of the most impactful things families can do is make connection a priority. A consistent visit, a shared activity, or a program designed around who your loved one is can make a significant difference in their overall health and quality of life.

If your loved one has started pulling away, our Thoughtful Engagement® Specialists show up as joy facilitators, reigniting the connections and experiences that bring life back into focus. https://brandywinethoughtfulengagement.com/
