🌍 What an Incredible International Day 2026! 🌍

Earlier today, the ABC Adult School – Cuesta Campus was transformed into a global village as we celebrated the vibrant cultures and traditions of our diverse ESL student body. On Friday May 8th, from 11:00 AM to 12:40 PM, our campus was filled with the sights, sounds, and flavors of over 25 nations.

It was a joy to see our community come together to witness:

💃 Stunning Performances: Students wowed the audience with traditional dances and showcased incredible local talents.

🖼️ Interactive Exhibits: Visitors explored beautifully curated displays featuring authentic items from home countries, including detailed presentations on Colombia, Mexico, and Japan.

🤝 Cultural Connection: Our ESL students proudly shared their heritage, bringing the world a little closer together right here in Cerritos.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, participated, and helped make this day a beautiful success!

Kicking off AAPI Heritage Month at ABC Adult School with a tribute to our local legends!

Philip Vera Cruz was a trailblazing Filipino-American labor leader and a titan of the farmworker movement. He is best known for his role in co-founding the United Farm Workers (UFW) and for being the "bridge-builder" who united different immigrant communities to fight for better wages and dignity in the fields. 🍇💪

🏆 Golden Moments at our Parent Education Mini Olympics! 🏅

Today was all about community, connection, and a little bit of friendly competition! We had a fantastic turnout for our Parent Education Mini Olympics here at ABC Adult School. From teamwork drills to laughter-filled games, our parents showed us exactly what it means to lead by example.

We were also incredibly honored to have a very special guest join the fun! A huge thank you to our School Board President, Mr. Francisco Noyola, for stopping by to visit our campus, cheer on our participants, and support the vital work of Adult Education.

It’s a great day to be a part of the ABC family!
