Topics of sexuality using Harvey Milk, Billie Jean King, Chaz Bono and as well as gender studies inside.

With these books teachers have the choice to deep dive into complex sexuality in open discussions with their class.

These board approved books give them permission.

• What is bisexual, gay, le***an, trans?

• What does attraction mean?

• Chaz Bono felt he was assigned wrong at birth.

• How did Chaz Bono change from a woman to a man?

• How many genders are there?

• Why is Harvey Milk a hero?

Not all teachers will put themselves in this position.

Talk to your child's teacher this is District wide, every teacher has been informed.

You are not the only parent to speak up and you are never alone. Most elementary teachers will stand with you.
