3-30-26 11pm NTFD responded to a structure fire in the 6000 block of 11 mile rd. A large barn was found fully involved and spreading to nearby fields and swamp. Thanks to Emmett Township Department of Public Safety, Burlington Township Fire Department, Leroy Twp fire dept, Fredonia Twp fire dept, LifeCare Ambulance, & Calhoun County 911 - Michigan for their assistance. No injuries reported.

NTFD responded to a residential structure fire in the 10,000 block of 8 mile rd. Fire was contained to 2 rooms and extinguished quickly. No injuries to any civilians or firefighters. NTFD would like to thank Emmett Township Department of Public Safety, Leroy Twp FD, LifeCare Ambulance and Calhoun County 911 - Michigan for their assistance.

Ice rescue training 2-9-26. 12 + inches of ice. NTFD trains yearly on this skill, historically we respond at least once a year to a person or animal through the ice.
