🎄 Santa Alert, Century & Byrneville! 🎄
Mr. and Mrs. Claus 🎅🤶 and their speedy reindeer crew 🦌 will be zooming through the Century/Byrneville area Wednesday, December 24th! 🚒💨
When you hear the sirens, bring the kids outside for candy 🍭🍬, goodies, and a magical wave from the Clauses!

🚒 Takeoff Time:
We’ll roll out from Century Fire Station on Tedder Road at 8:30 AM! ⏰
🎅 Santa’s Route:
Here’s where you can catch a glimpse of the Christmas magic:
➡️ Down Hwy 29 to Byrneville Road
➡️ Cruising 💨 across W. Highway 4 to Highway 4A
➡️ Quick stop at Byrneville Community Center!
📸 Kids can take pictures by the fire truck (Santa & Mrs. Claus must stay on the truck!)
➡️ Continuing down Highway 4A, turning right onto Killam Road ⛄
➡️ Left onto W. Highway 4
➡️ Looping through Century Woods Apartments and Century Apartments on 2nd Street 🎁
➡️ Flying 🛷 down Highway 29 to Whataburger Parking Lot
Second stop! 📸 Another chance for photos by the truck!
➡️ Rolling along E. Highway 4, then right onto Freedom Road
➡️ Loop through Camellia Garden Apartments 💨
➡️ Down Jefferson Avenue to E. Hecker Road
➡️ Down Mayo Street, left onto Front Street
➡️ Back along Jefferson Avenue to Pond Street
➡️ Then soaring 🛷 back down Highway 29 to the Century Fire House so Santa & Mrs. Claus can return to the North Pole to finish Christmas prep! 🎄🎁🥛🍪

Our Santa Run for 2023 is complete.

Its that time of Year!

Once again Mr. and Mrs. Claus 🎅 and their reindeer 🦌 will zoom through Century/Byrneville area Saturday December 23rd! 🚒🚒Parents please have your kids come out to see them and maybe catch some candy 🍭 🍬 and other goodies when you hear the sirens getting close by! 🚨 🚨
We will leave Century Fire Station on Tedder Road at 09:00 AM. ⏰
From there we will head down Hwy 29 and make a quick pass ✈️ by the Century Park Apartments then West Hwy 4 to the Century Care Center.
We will leave Century Care Center heading back to Hwy 29.
Then we will travel Hwy 29 to East Pond Street and make the first right onto Jefferson Ave.
Zooming down 💨💨Jefferson Ave. and making left on Front St.
Going down Front St. and turning right onto Mayo St. ⛄️⛄️
Then Santa 🎅 🤶 will go down Mayo St. and make a right onto Hecker Rd.
Mr. 🎅 and Mrs. Claus 🤶 will then travel along Hecker Rd. and will be making a left onto Jefferson Ave. 🎁🎁

Flying down 🛷🛷 Jefferson Ave and Crossing East Hwy 4 onto Old Flomaton Rd.
You can catch 🚒🚒them along Old Flomaton Rd as they zoom by ⚡️⚡️and turn left onto East Cottage St. then making a right onto Ivey St.
Santa 🎅 and his elves 🧝‍♂️ will stop for a short period beside Napa Auto Parts for kids that want a closer look! 🎅👀👀 Pictures 📷 can be taken here but the kids will have to stand by the truck, Mr. 🎅 and Mrs🤶 can't climb down!
Then we will head out West Stateline Rd 💨🛷 then Byrneville area here he comes!

We will travel Hwy 4A 👀🎅🤶 and make a right on Stuckey Rd. Then a left on Morgan Rd back to Hwy 4A, 💨💨
where Santa 🎅 and his elves 🧝‍♂️ will stop for another short break at Byrneville Community Center! Bring the kids here to catch another closer look! 👀🎅🤶🦌 Again pictures 📷 can be taken with kids standing by the truck but Mr. and Mrs. Claus can't climb down!

Leaving Byrneville Community Center, you can catch a view of them zooming down 💨💨Byrneville Rd all the way to Hwy 29.
Then the sleigh 🛷 will be headed down Hwy 29 back to the Century Fire House 🚒 on Tedder Rd so Mr. 🎅 and Mrs. Claus 🤶 and the reindeer 🦌 can get back to the North Pole to finish getting ready for Christmas Eve! 🎄 🎁 🥛 🍪

With a heavy heart, Escambia County Fire Rescue announces the passing of Lt. Terrell Jackson. He passed away after experiencing a medical emergency on Monday, Jan. 9. He was 38 years old.

Lt. Jackson began his career with ECFR as a volunteer firefighter in 2007, beginning with the Ferry Pass Volunteer Fire Department. On July 18, 2013, Jackson became a full-time firefighter. As a firefighter, he demonstrated a dedicated work ethic and compassion. His leadership and capabilities led to his promotion to lieutenant on Oct. 2, 2021.

As a lieutenant, Terrell Jackson continued to show his dedication and passion for the job as he mentored firefighters and worked as the company officer on several different assignments. He has been described as a "firefighter's firefighter" and has always led through his actions.

“Lt. Jackson has been a long-time member of the ECFR family and not only served his community but also served his country," said Deputy Fire Chief Paul Williams. "I pray that his family, friends, and brother and sister firefighters can find peace in knowing his legacy and memory will live on.”

Terrell Jackson will be greatly missed, and his passing will leave a huge gap that is impossible to fill. ECFR asks to please keep his family and fire family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

“Lt. Jackson was the truest definition of a public servant as a Navy veteran and a firefighter," said Fire Chief Jason Catrambone. "His life was one of a servant to all around him. He will be remembered and missed."

Santa Run 2022 was a bit 🥶 but a success. Hopefully we were able to put a little 🎄 spirit in some hearts today. Have a safe and happy holiday season!

It’s sure going to be a 🥶 one Saturday morning! 🎅 and 🤶 are used to this kind of weather though! Get the kids bundled up so they can catch some candy. Map is linked below as well as some stopping points! 🎄 🎄

We will leave ECFR Station #23 on West Hwy 4 at 08:00 AM. ⏰

We will travel West Hwy 4 and Santa 🎅 and his elves 🧝‍♂️ will stop for short break at Byrneville Community Center! Bring the kids here to catch another closer look! 👀🎅🤶🦌 Pictures 📷 can be taken with 🎅🤶 Claus.

We will continue our journey 🚒 down Hwy 4A and make a turn onto Killam Road. Zooming right down Killam road to W Hwy 4. Don't miss out!✔✔✔ 😁👀

From there we will head down W Hwy 4 to Hwy 29 and make a quick pass ✈️ by the Century Park Apartments.

Then we will travel Hwy 29 to East Pond Street and make the first right onto Jefferson Ave.

Zooming down 💨💨Jefferson Ave. and making left on Front St.

Going down Front St. and turning right onto Mayo St. ⛄️⛄️

Then Santa 🎅 🤶 will go down Mayo St. and make a right onto Church St.

Will travel Church St. and make a left on Jefferson Ave. and fly down ✈️✈️ Jefferson Ave. to make a left onto Mayo Ln.

Going down Mayo Ln. and making a right onto Mayo St. then a right on Hecker Rd.
Mr. 🎅 and Mrs. Claus 🤶 will then travel along Hecker Rd. and will be making a left onto Jefferson Ave. 🎁🎁

Flying 🛷🛷 across East Hwy 4 and continuing onto Old Flomaton Rd.

You can catch 🚒🚒them along Old Flomaton Rd as they zoom by ⚡️⚡️and turn left onto East Cottage St. then making a right onto Ivey St.

Santa 🎅 and his elves 🧝‍♂️ will stop for a short period at the vacant lot beside Napa Auto Parts for kids that want a closer look! 🎅👀👀 Pictures 📷 can be taken here with Mr. 🎅 and Mrs🤶.

Then we will head out West Stateline Rd and zoom around Shady Lane Apartments, 💨🛷

We will be traveling down West Stateline Rd and making a left on Hwy 4A. 🎄 🎁 🎅 will then travel down Hwy 4A and make a left onto Hilltop Rd.

Travelling down Hilltop Rd. we will make a right onto Alger Rd. 🦌🚒🎅

Then the sleigh 🛷 will be headed down Hwy 29 back to the Century Fire House 🚒 on Tedder Rd so Mr. 🎅 and Mrs. Claus 🤶 can get back to the North Pole to finish getting ready for Christmas Eve night! 🎄 🎁 🥛 🍪
