The Centreville Volunteer Fire Department, located in Centreville, Virginia, 20 miles west of the Nation's Capital, has been providing fire and emergency services to the community since 1950. This means that Fairfax County career personnel staff one Advanced Life Support (ALS) Engine Company and one ALS EMS transport unit at Fire Station #17, while CVFD volunteers supplement the career staff on th
ose units or staff additional fire and EMS units. CVFD currently owns two fire engines, four EMS transport units (2 out of Fire Station #17 and two out of our sister station, Fire Station #38), two emergency response SUVs, and one Canteen unit. In order to help fund the various apparatus we own and station upkeep, CVFD hosts Bingo every Tuesday and Saturday evening. Doors open at 4:30 p.m., sales start at 4:45PM, and early bird games start at 6:45PM. Please come out and support your local volunteer fire department, and have a great time doing it!
