🎅🏼 Santa’s special helpers were busy tonight! 🎅🏼

A tradition held near and dear to our community continues. We want say a special thank you to the F&L Hustlers 4h club for helping bag 1400 goody bags to be passed out Christmas morning.

Remember - Santa Claus will be coming around on the fire trucks starting at 8:00 AM on Christmas morning to hand out bags of treats to the kids! 🎅🚒

Happy Homecoming, Centralia Panthers! We enjoyed celebrating with the town today at the parade!

Kickoff is starting soon, so if you haven’t made your way to the stadium, you better head that way!

Please avoid Hwy CC. There is an accident and it is being handled by Boone County Fire Protection District, Highway Patrol, and other first responders. CC is shut down between Swiney Lane and March Road.

The accident has also impacted power outages in the area, and Boone Electric and Ameren have been made aware of this.

There is another chance for severe thunderstorms Monday afternoon into Monday evening. All hazards will be possible during this time period including heavy rain.

📢Per the City of Centralia: In any situation where there is sparking, fire, road blockage, etc. the reporting party would call 311 or 911 depending on the severity of the emergency. BCJC would dispatch the entities that need to respond, including utilities. After hour outages, water leaks, sewer backup, etc. is where the phone number above would be utilized.
